SIM Only
SIM only contracts are an ideal way to get a pay monthly contract if you are suffering from bad credit. Because no handset is included with the contract, networks are much more likely to approve your application than if you were to apply for an expensive handset and high tariff plan. In addition, most SIM only contracts are on a 30 day rolling contract instead of 12 or 18 months and so networks are far much more sympathetic. SIM only contracts offer great value free texts and minutes that are as good, if not better, than standard mobile phone contracts. Networks can offer tariff plans with more inclusive minutes and texts as they do not have to recoup the initial cost of the handset (which they would normally do by charging a higher monthly line rental and placing you in a 12 or 18 month contract)
If you already have a handset you are happy with and do not want to be tied down to a 12 or 18 month contract, then SIM only deals are a great option.
