T Mobile Review

t-mobile-2

Out of all the UK networks, T Mobile are one of the most lenient when it comes to providing a mobile phone contract to people with bad credit history (Click here to learn more about other people who managed to get a contract with T Mobile even with bad credit history.) In fact, T Mobile have recently introduced a tariff called Solo Lite which is designed specifically for people with a less than perfect credit rating.

The Solo Lite package is offered as an alternative to people who apply for a contract on their website, but who then fail to meet their credit check criteria.  It comes as a SIM card only option with a number of temporary restrictions:

  • No international calls
  • No picture messaging
  • No internet browsing

As long as you make 3 months regular bill payments, these restrictions are then automatically lifted, and you will then be offered a chance to upgrade to a standard contract with free handset.

Please note that the Solo Lite tariff is not shown on the T Mobile website and only offered to you should you fail their credit checks. We recommend that you first apply for a standard contract with handset and wait to see if you are approved. If you are approved then great, if not you will then be offered their Solo Lite package. If you are struggling to be approved for a pay monthly contract due to bad credit, we suggest that you take up this offer,  as the old adage goes: beggers cant be choosers! After 3  months on this tariff you can then upgrade to a standard contract with free handset.
